The pool of chefs who travel between sites under you. Name, role, contracted hours, and any rules on how far or how long they can be sent.
Sites
Every hotel in the group this rota can send cover to. Give each one a colour so it's easy to spot on the rota grid at a glance.
Site cover needs
Log when a site needs someone — a head chef's annual leave, a sickness gap, a vacancy, or an event that's overloaded their own kitchen. Auto-fill matches these against the relief team automatically.
Holiday & day-off requests
Log booked leave, sickness, or day-off requests for the relief team here. These are used automatically when you auto-fill the rota — a person on leave that day won't be sent anywhere.
Site swaps
Log a swap two people have asked for, then authorise it once you're happy — the rota only changes when you tick Authorise. Works for a straight swap between two site assignments, or just handing one person's assignment to someone else.

Lists
Edit the dropdown options used elsewhere in this tool. Reordering seniority levels changes who auto-fill treats as senior enough to cover what — top of the list is least senior, bottom is most senior.
